ABOUT KELLY

I want you to have artwork on your walls that happens to be the thing you cherish the most, your family! I also want you to know, once you’re part of the Kelly Moon Photography family, I can’t wait to see you as often as possible! Especially your kids, they are ever changing and I want to capture their personality as they grow up. I also have a natural way of working with children and pets, knowing different techniques and having the patience to handle almost any situation. (Do not be surprised if your shy child wants to stay longer and cannot wait to come back!) For the adults, know that I know how to pose you so you look your best. We all know it can be awkward to have your photos taken, but let me direct you to look your absolute best!

THE PROCESS

Kelly Moon Photography creates artwork just for you, so it begins with the end in mind. How do you want to see your portraits in 5, 10, 15 years?

CONSULTATION

This can be done by phone or in the studio.
We will discuss what clothing to wear, where in your home your portraits will be displayed, art products offered and answer any questions you might have.
Book your photoshoot date and collect the session fee.
If you need additional assistance with your wardrobe or wall art options, Kelly can schedule an additional time in your home as well.

THE SHOOT

The Shoot:

This will be a relaxed fun atmosphere.
Hair and makeup options available and highly recommended.

VIEW AND ORDER

About two weeks after your portrait session, you’ll come back to the studio to view your fully retouched images. Your View and Order appointment is the time set aside to finalize your portrait order, so be sure and schedule a time when all decision makers can be there. Take home only what you love, it’s our job to make you love them all!

Using our software and photos of the walls in your home, Kelly will show your portraits scaled onto your walls. Kelly will guide you every step of the way using your goals from the consultation to achieve your vision for your family portraits.

DELIVERY AND INSTALLATION

About 3-4 weeks later, your art work will be ready for pick up or better yet, let us install for you! And once those portraits are hanging, you can sit back and enjoy!

SIGNATURE STUDIO SESSION

$290 Signature Session Fee is collected at the time of booking and includes the following.

Consultation with Kelly at the studio or in your home.
Kelly’s creative time to photograph and professionally edit your portraits.
Hair and makeup.
Custom design of portrait and gallery options for your walls
Your View and Order Session with Kelly to select your portraits.

Custom Framed Wall Portraits start at $560 with collection purchase
Collections start at $1500
A La Carte Images $250
Custom Holiday Cards or Announcements are available as an add-on to any portrait order

All images in collections and wall art include the digital negative.

FAQs

Do you offer payment plans? : Yes, we do offer payment plan options.
Is there a charge for additional people in a Photoshoot?: Additional hair and makeup fees may apply for additional women in your party.
Can I just get the digitals?: Digitals and prints are the same price. Each image you purchase comes with its corresponding digital.
I don’t have anything to wear.: Do not worry, with your booking you receive complimentary wardrobe consultation. We will go through what to wear, what looks good in photos and where to shop. (Even options to rent, if you can’t find exactly what you want) 
Do you shoot on weekends? : YES! Because we know it’s more convenient with work and school schedules, but these sessions are limited, so book early!
Do you offer Santa sessions?: Be sure to let us know you’re interested……because rumor has it Santa will be coming to Nixa for a special photo sessions at Kelly Moon Photography.
